Specialty internships.

Become a well-rounded, competitive candidate for residency training programs.
How it works:
Upon successful completion of a rotating internship, qualified veterinarians are eligible to complete a one-year specialty internship for greater immersion into their chosen specialty.

We continue to provide you with one-on-one mentorship and didactic training support to aid you on your path to become a veterinary specialist. Although it is not a requirement of our programs, specialty interns are encouraged to participate in clinical research and manuscript submission in a peer-reviewed journal to help bolster their residency application. Support for research is provided to specialty interns through BluePearl Science.

Criteria:
  • Graduate of an AVMA-accredited veterinary school or successful completion of ECFVG examination.
  • Passed NAVLE examination and eligible to become licensed in the state where hospital is located.
  • Successful completion of a one-year rotating internship.
  • At this time, we can only consider candidates who are eligible to work in the United States. Legal citizens of Canada and Mexico may be sponsored on a TN-Visa.
