At BluePearl, we offer both one-year rotating internships and one-year specialty internships.

In our rotating internship program, you’ll experience diverse, hands-on training with daily clinical rounds. You’ll manage specialty and emergency cases, while working closely with our emergency, critical care, surgery, and internal medicine clinicians.

In any of our specialty internship programs, you’ll evaluate clinical cases, attend lectures, participate in advanced diagnostics, and go on formal rounds – all with the goal of gaining valuable knowledge in your chosen specialty. 

Prerequisite: Graduation from an AVMA-accredited veterinary college.

Our community of talented clinicians are here to help you become a confident innovator and passionate expert in your chosen specialty. You’ll work in a fast-paced specialty and emergency hospital equipped with all the tools you need to learn to the best of your ability. 

Our residency programs are in full compliance with the requirements for successful board certification.

Open to veterinary students from AVMA-accredited schools, BluePearl externships include rotations through our hospital services. You’ll observe our specialists, senior emergency clinicians, residents and interns in action.
